UNSW Science will be hosting an Education Focussed Lunch & Learn. Hear from Education Focussed academics about innovative teaching approaches towards assessment, student learning and classroom practice.
Speakers
- Steven Parker and Neil Laurence (Faculty of Science) will present on how EdTech can be used to create an enhanced learning environment for both online and face to face students including a hands on demonstration of the Physics Digital Teaching Setup.
- David Bowser (Curio, CEO and former academic) will present on neurotransmission and plasticity as well as how we learn and develop, then dive into how an understanding of neuroscience can inform how we work with individuals and teams before exploring some leadership frameworks based on evidence about the brain.
This event will be run face-to-face primarily with a catered light lunch. Speaker presentations can also be viewed online via a Teams link, but it is recommended to attend in person to make the most out of the networking session.
