UNFED Meeting hosted by Law & Justice

Law & Justice is pleased to host the August meeting of UNFED

Class participation (CP) is a vital and assessable part of most Law and Justice courses. Since the onset of the pandemic, L&J academics have needed to adapt to and use the UNSW digital education suite of tools and develop pedagogical practices to encourage, manage and subsequently assess CP online or in mixed modalities such as Hybrid. The Director of Learning and Teaching for the faculty, Dr Svetlana Tyulkina, will speak to the importance of CP in L&J courses, how CP assessment has evolved over the last few years and her own experimentations and learnings while teaching during this time of change.

The session will then breakout into groups and allow participants to reflect on and discuss the UNSW tools and/or pedagogical practices that might improve or help manage CP in online/hybrid settings before reporting back to the larger group.
