Dr Gavin Mount, Academic Mentor, UNSW Canberra

Dr Gavin Mount (BA Unimelb, MA, PhD ANU) is a lecturer at UNSW Canberra. His primary research is on the global politics of ethnic conflict. He also teaches in the fields of global security, great power politics and conflict transformation.

In 2010, Gavin was awarded a Rector's Commendation for Excellence in Classroom Teaching. He has presented education related research on the subjects of online engagement and the use of simulations and gaming at University, National and International Conferences.
