Program Level Approach to Assessment

Professional development for program authorities

UNSW is committed to shifting assessments from the course level to program level by 2026. This change is part of our vision to reimagine assessment and feedback for the benefit of the students and staff. This shift means that we will plan curriculum across programs and specialisations, ensure we have the right mix of assessments across those programs and specialisations, and harness the power of AI to secure assessments at meaningful points.

To support with this transition, PVCE is committed to uplifting the knowledge and capabilities for Program Authorities through dedicated Professional Development for Program Authorities delivered by our Academic Development team.
