Catherine Ryan wins 2019 Echo360 Academic Champion Grant

Congratulations Catherine Ryan from the Academic Development Services Team, who has won a 2019 Echo360 Academic Champion Grant.

Echo360 is the lecture capture software which powers Lecture Recordings+ (LR+) at UNSW. In 2018, the company Echo360, initiated the Echo360 Academic Champion Grant, which was established to assist and support client institutions in the use of active learning features in Echo360. Up to ten awards were on offer in 2019, which included funds to support adoption of active learning within the institution, fully funded workshop opportunities and participation in the annual Echo A/NZ Conference. Professional and academic staff were eligible to apply.

Catherine champions Lecture Recordings+ (Echo360) at UNSW and supports the use of all features in LR+ through introduction and workshop sessions for learning and teaching staff. She recently attended the 2-day workshop in in Melbourne along with other 2019 Echo360 Academic Champion Grant winners from Monash University, The University of Sydney, Griffith University, Swinburne University, The University of Western Australia and the University of Adelaide.
