    Learn Educational Technology Services (LET’S) Meet

    The Educational Technology Services (ETS) Unit, a part of the PVC(E) portfolio, is organising training sessions prior to T3 for the use of EduTech tools over the course of two days.

    ETS thrives to enhance the use of technology in learning and teaching, which is why sessions covering a wide range of educational tools have been planned. These sessions will cover the use of Moodle, Turnitin, LR+, theBox, H5P, ASTRA, Workshop & Team Eval, Leganto, Immersive Technology, AV & Active Learning Spaces.   

    Both days will have sessions on varying topics. If you are interested in attending both days, you will need to register for them separately.

    Afternoon Tea and snacks will be provided.

    Day 2: Wednesday 4 September

    10:00am - 10:30am MyProfile Using this new tool to set up course contact details in Moodle
    10:30am - 11:30am LR+ and Instructor Experience Learn how to use Lecture Recordings+ (LR+) to support teaching and to improve student engagement in your classes, by using active learning tools.
    11:30am - 12:00pm Immersive Technology (XR Learning Objects) How to use Virtual and Augmented reality in your teaching
    12:00pm - 12:30pm Afternoon tea  
    12:30pm - 1:00pm H5P Learn how H5P may be used in your teaching
    1:00pm - 2:00pm Moodle 102: Building on course content Advanced session on use of Blocks, Groups, Common module settings and Administering activities.
    2:00pm - 2:15pm theBox Intro and Basic use of theBox
    2:15pm - 3:00pm Turnitin A brief introduction to Turnitin (Incl. First-hand instructor experience) 
    3:00pm - 3:30pm Astra: tips, traps and opportunities Integration with Moodle; towards strategic use of Astra data in student learning analysis.
    3:30pm - 4:00pm AV and Echo Universal Capture Intro to Audio Visual system & a look into the Echo Universal Capture feature.
