My portfolio showcases my entire learning journey throughout my experience at UNSW. During my degree, I have explored various potentials through different projects and established my own design approach. My focus on interactive experiences has been a major concept in all my projects. The aim of each project is to create something innovative, departing from existing norms. I challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone and transcend traditional design approaches rooted in my cultural background, aiming to create projects that are personally meaningful and impactful on a broader scale.
"Bear Bear Universe":
During my primary years, I attended boarding school in China where I felt pressured to conform to the expectations of being a model student. This environment led me to lose touch with my true self and eroded my childhood innocence.
In this project, I sought to reclaim my lost childhood by creating a dreamed metaverse. This project stands out as one of my boldest works, as it encapsulates elements that reclaim the fragments of my childhood - toys, bears, and imagination.
