Student Consultation Program

Are you looking to understand the student experience to improve or evaluate your service, but not sure where to start? The Student Consultation Program is a central service that seeks to ensure staff can seamlessly integrate student input into micro-level decision making, program reviews and strategy development in an interactive and engaging way.

How it works?

The Student Consultation Program sees UNSW Student Engagement partner with university stakeholders (including Arc) to design and facilitate consultations using best practice qualitative principals. This provides insights that ensure services and programs are relevant, effective, and engaging for our student body. This program offers:

  • Focus groups (up to 4 focus groups with 8-15 students per group)
  • Interviews (up to 10 one-on-one interviews)
  • Collaborative workshops (one off co-design sessions with a group of up to 8 students)

This service is provided in-house by the Student Engagement Team, with university partner (your team’s) funding required only for the participant incentives ($30-100 per student depending on the nature of the consultation).

We require a 6-week minimum turnover for consultations.

For more information, please contact Josh Rebolledo at [email protected] or submit a request form.
