When I first arrived at UNSW, I took the stairs from the Napier Street Gate, listening to a song that transported me to meadows filled with honeybees, with the warm sun on my face and a gentle summer breeze. This experience encapsulated the beauty of summer, my initial day at university, and my second day in Australia. The uplifting stairs symbolized my journey to a higher understanding and education.

Combining these elements, I created a piece of art titled 'Vita Nova' which is Latin for 'New Life'. This artwork represents the essence of my first experience at UNSW, inspired by the song 'Iraadey' by Abdul Hannan.
