theBox - Share a specific media item with an external user

You can use this feature to share a video with a non-university affiliate.

To share a video or audio file with an external user:

1. Log into theBox using your zID and zPass.
2. Navigate to the video you wish to share.
3. Click the settings menu, and click Edit video or Edit audio.
   
   
    
4. Enable Secured Embed Code
   
   
    
5. Go the External access list option at the bottom of the page and enter the email address of the person you wish to receive the video.
   
   
    
6. Click the Save button.  An email will be sent to the user with a link to access the video.

To revoke access:

1. Log into theBox using your zID and zPass.
2. Navigate to the video you wish to share.
3. Click the settings icon and click Edit video or Edit audio.
   
   
    
4. Go the Secured Embed Code option at the bottom of the page and remove the email address. 
5. Click the Save button.
