Rebecca Anh's artwork

As the only Asian student in my high school, I often felt my cultural backgrounds being discriminated and made fun of. However, at UNSW, I discovered a vibrant community where diverse cultures and perspectives converge and collaborate.

My artwork depicts myself immersed in this supportive atmosphere at UNSW that allows me to feel nurtured and valued, fostering a sense of cultural belonging that transcends my unique cultural background. In particular, learning about the cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders has been fascinating and really enriched my unique academic journey in Australia which is reflected in my artwork.
