Digital Assessment at UNSW

UNSW is committed to providing our community with an excellent digital assessment experience and has partnered with Inspera to provide an end-to-end digital assessment platform. Inspera is a fundamental enabler of enhancing student experience and in positioning UNSW as a sector leader in “anytime anywhere” digitally enhanced education. Inspera delivers an enterprise level system to provide the infrastructure for digital assessments all within a single platform. Digital exams on Inspera allow for simpler and more effective methods for assessing student skills, while also providing a more modern and fair assessment process. What was previously done on paper, can now be done digitally. This includes the creation of exams, student submissions, and marking processes.

From 2024, most of UNSW’s high stakes assessments will be conducted via Inspera, complemented by other specialist e-assessment tools in UNSW’s digital assessment ecosystem.
