My Experience at UNSW

What would it be?

Was the first question on my mind

Transitioning from high school to university.

What would it be? Am I going to fit in?

Now that I am here

What would it be? Is it really that easy?

The friends I made who made me cheer

Are they going to stay or leave me?

The surprises that came with me being here.

What will it be?

So many questions at the start but ends with a tear.

So overwhelming, so much to take in

That is how my first term was

But what will it be?

The new experiences and knowledge that came within,

Term two was better with the friends

Who will stay forever in

I hope.

What will it be?

At last, there was only ever one answer to all the questions I asked me

A roller coaster ride of emotions and experiences,

Unforgettably unforgettable moments of my life

The best memories.

As the topic suggests, my work gives a glimpse of what goes on in the mind of a student who just transitioned from high school to university. It shows how many questions there are and  more than half of them are never really answered. Everyone thinks it is easy but no one really knows what we experience and what goes on in our minds. My work also gives a glimpse of different experiences, knowledge and friendship that we go through during university years.
