Assessing Graduate Capabilities

UNSW has articulated a set of desired learning outcomes, or Graduate Capabilities, for all UNSW students.  These graduate capabilities are embedded in the design of programs and courses, and their assessment is a crucial part of the assurance of academic quality and standards.

UNSW students are expected to be globally focussed graduates who are rigorous scholars, capable of leadership and professional practice in an international community. Assessment designs need to incorporate the development of the knowledge, skills, and dispositions which underpin these graduate capabilities, within the context of the disciplines of academic programs and courses.
